Admission Policy
IVAI's admission criterion is very selective. Admission is usually determined by a live audition. When distance is an issue, a recorded audition may be accepted.


PROGRAM DATES:

• Caguas, Puerto Rico ~ June 1 - June 21, 2008
• Tel Aviv, Israel ~ July 7 - August 2, 2008
• Montreal, Canada ~ August 5 - August 23, 2008

Auditions will be held in New York City; Montreal, Canada; and Caguas, Puerto Rico.

Applicants may choose to audition in one of the three locations.
Application forms and all required materials must be sent to the International Vocal Arts Institute office in New York, NY

*Recorded Auditions: Audio Tapes/CD or Video Tapes (NTSC) may be submitted instead of a live audition. The recorded audition should include 3 operatic arias in at least 2 different languages.

Videotaped auditions highly preferred.


APPLICATIONS MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY:

• Detailed Current Resume
• A recent 8x10 B&W photo
• Two letters from your teachers describing your current level of vocal,
  musical and dramatic proficiency
• Check or Money order for non-refundable application fee of $35 (USD).
  Make check payable to International Vocal Arts Institute
  or applicable institution depending on audition location
• Audio tape/CD or Video Tape - NTSC (for Taped Auditions only)
